Description

A technique to choke the opponent’s neck region by holding his neck and right armpit between both legs and hooking the right foot on the back of the left knee while forming a triangular form. (Kodokan definition)

Key points

  1. Hold uke’s neck and armpit between both legs.
  2. Hook foot on back of other knee to form triangle.
  3. Squeeze legs to apply choke.
