Description

A technique to choke the opponent’s neck region from the front by putting the right forearm on his throat and the left forearm behind the neck to hold his neck between them, gripping the right cuff with left hand and thrusting the right hand into the right side of his neck. (Kodokan definition)

Key points

  1. Put one forearm on uke’s throat, other behind his neck.
  2. Grip your cuff with the other hand.
  3. Thrust to apply choke between the forearms.
