Description

A technique to hold down the opponent’s upper body under the chest and abdomen region by lying on the stomach over the opponent lying on his back, holding his right arm and neck with both hands and holding his lower body with both legs. (Kodokan definition)

Key points

  1. Lie on stomach over uke; hold uke’s arm and neck with both hands.
  2. Hold uke’s lower body with both legs.
  3. Control uke’s full body with weight and grips.
