Description

A technique to choke the opponent’s neck region by crossing the wrists from the front gripping his side-collars with four fingers of both hands inside and tightening arms. (Kodokan definition)

Key points

  1. Cross wrists from the front; grip side-collars with four fingers inside.
  2. Tighten arms to apply choke.
  3. Apply pressure to both sides of the neck.
