Te-waza (hand techniques) use the arms and upper body to break balance and complete throws.

Description
A technique to throw the opponent over the right shoulder by breaking his balance forward and holding his right arm from the inside with the right arm to carry him on the back. (Kodokan definition)
Key points
- Break uke’s balance forward.
- Hold uke’s arm from the inside (one-arm grip).
- Turn in and load uke onto the back.
- Throw by extending and pulling down.
