Description

A technique to throw down the opponent by counter-reaping his O-soto-gari attempt with the leg that is being attacked. (Kodokan definition)

Key points

  1. When uke attempts o-soto-gari, counter the reap.
  2. Use the leg that was attacked to reap or unbalance.
  3. Throw uke down.
